What is a Dota 2 League?

Dota 2 in-game league tickets allow the event organizer to select custom text and graphics to show inside of the Dota 2 game client, mainly used within custom game lobbies hosted for the organizer's event.

Integration Process

Integrating your Dota 2 League is part of our Core Space Package, you can easily upgrade your Space under Space Settings ➡ Upgrade, or from this page.

For us to then integrate your Dota 2 League, you need to provide the following information to us - you can do so by contacting our Support Chat ❔ - or by sending an email with the information to Support@Challengermode.com.'

The information we need is:

  • The Dota 2 League ID.
  • Start and End Dates of the whole event.
  • Rough match schedule (including estimated maximum number of concurrent matches).
  • Link(s) to the Tournament(s).

Note: Please provide us with this information at least 7 days before your tournament or event is due to take place.

Add Hosts to your League

After we receive the information, we will get back to you with Steam Accounts that you need to add to your Dota 2 League - these are the bots that will be hosting the lobbies for you.

When they have been added - you are good to go!

To host a tournament with your league, go to Tournament Settings for the tournament you are hosting. From there, select Game in the left-side menu, located under Settings.

If you scroll down, you will find Custom League ID at the bottom.

Enter your Custom league ID, all lobbies in your tournament will then be hosted with your League ID.
